The CANbus terminator terminates the CANbus. On a CANbus sytem 2 terminators on the far ends of teh buis are required.
The Squarell CANbus terminator is a IP67 proof terminator and fits on all Squarell CANbus connectors.
** Important Notice **
CANbus systems with short cable lengths seems to work with just one or no terminators. This is a matter of luck, when the environement changes (rerouting of the wires, electrical influeces etc) the CANbus can stop communicating due to increased signal reflections on the CANbus. It is very important to use 2 terminators in a CANbus network regardless the cable length.
