Description:

The iCommunicate is an advanced RS232 to CAN interface. This device can be connected to CANbus systems according to the ISO 11898 (5 volts) systems. The 2 bi-directional CANbus ports are optical isolated and the bi directional RS232 port has extended capabilities like binary and ASCII support, checksum, handshake etc. The device can be configured via the iConfigure software. With the extended configuration capacity you can configure large and complex processes inside the device to perform any control and process task you can imagine.. Complex event driven situations can be handled up to a 100ths of a second, and with the non volatile storage, data values can be stored. 

In combination with iLogCAN you can use this device to read the iLogCAN data logger data and send it over the RS232 port to Telematics or modem connections.
