Description:

The CANdiode is a device which can be used as a one-way CANbus gateway or CANbus bridge. This device can be connected to CANbus systems according to the ISO 11898 (5 volts) systems. The CANdiode port is an optical isolated.

The  CANdiode port is designed to read CANbus data from CANbus systems without interfering with the electrical signal. The port only reads and can not send data or influence the signal levels.

The  bi-directional CANbus port is a full functional port. The device can be configured via the iConfigure software. With the extended configuration capacity you can configure large and complex processes inside the device to perform any control and process task you can imagine. Protocol conversion, speed adaptation, message pacing and gateway functions can  be handled up to a 100ths of a second, and data values can be stored in non-volatile memory.
