Description

This device is an electronic device to connect 1 thermocouple and 1 Volt/mA sensor. A separate LED output can indicate a status.

This device is designed to perform tasks for:

• Particle filter protection
• Oil condition monitoring
• Hydraulic systems monitoring
• Various measurement and control applications

The device is very well suited for all kinds of measurement applications. The device can be configured via the iConfigure software. With the basic configuration capacity you can configure signal processes inside the device to perform any control and process task you can imagine. Event driven situations can be handled up to a 100ths of a second, and with the non volatile storage, data values can be stored.

Sensors are connected via the Squarell sensor cables. Sensor supply is integrated in the cable and with iConfigure the voltage is set during configuration. Sensors can be purchased from any third party supplier, if required we can advise you in selecting the right sensor type.

Smart sensor technology

The thermocouple sensor cable can be equipped with a 1-wire chip where configuration data and physical specs of the sensor are stored. The device reads this information and adapts the signal conversion automatically. This makes an "connect and go" installation possible. Squarell has several ready to use sensor cables for temperature measurement with smart sensor technology. Squarell can program your sensor characteristics in the sensor cables on request.

Smart sensor technology is only available on the Thermocouple port.
