Description

The iLogCAN is a powerful data logger to log data from CANbus systems according to the ISO 11898 (5 volts). All data is stored on a non-volatile memory of 512 MB. The data is stored in ASCII format and is accessible via the USB port. When connected to a PC, the data logger acts like a hard drive.

The 2 bi-directional CANbus ports are optical isolated. The device can be configured via the iConfigure software. With the extended configuration capacity you can configure large and complex processes inside the device to perform any control and process task you can imagine. Conditional logging, logging of calculated values and smart analysis ready logging is easy. Complex, event driven, situations can be handled up to a 100ths of a second, and with the non volatile storage, data values can be stored.

In combination with iCommunicate, the iLogCAN data logger data can send its contents over the RS232 port to Telematics or modem connections.

Logging methods

  • Details logging
10 CANbus or calculated values can be stored in a text file (150 values max)
  • Histogram logging
Histograms with 20 value classes can be defined the classes are incremented with value 1.(20 max)
  • Totalizing histogram logging
Histograms with 20 value classes can be defined, the classes are incremented with a CANvalue (20 max)
  • Min/Max/Count/Total logging
Minimum and maximum values over the logging interval, the number of values counted and the total value.

Benefits

  • High capacitiy with statistical functions
  • Easy to configure and to use
  • Wide application range
  • Harsh environment build
  • IP67 casing and connectors
  • E-certified and GOST-R
