Description
The iBridge kit is a state of the art solution for a reliable communication between truck and trailer. The concept is based on power line communications; the data is send via existing wires in the 15 or 7 pole connector between truck and trailer. The recommended wires are left rear light and ground wire. On both the truck side and the Trailer side the iBridge devices are installed. That’s it.
It is possible to identify the trailer or the truck and communicate the CANbus data.
The CANdata pass through option makes sure that all CAN data from the truck is available on the trailer and vice versa. Special CANbus processes can be set in both iBridge devices to proces, filter or convert the CANbus data.
All process logic is configurable with the iConfigure program. This makes the iBridge kit also the right choice for demanding customers or special projects in other environements then automotive.
